I spent several years in Poland between 1994 and 2002. During the second phase Myslovitz were the band. The Polish Radiohead. Named after a small town, this and the Korova Milk Bar album it comes from are very evocative to me of a time and place. Everybody seemed to be listening to them. I saw them play in Krakow's main square. It reminds me of the country's stately cities, its incredible cultural heritage and resolve and its beautiful and remarkable women who can match you drink for drink.
