Highly quirky and original '60s and early 70s psychedelic blues and occasionally as here folk rock band. Interestingly when The Beatles White Album was due to come out it was originally going to be called The Doll's House. This was changed as it was also going to be the name of Family's first album. This is an indication of how highly they were thought of at the time amongst their contemporaries. They're undeservedly obscure nowadays although Jarvis Cocker amongst others has plugged them. Great band.
