So as we make our way towards the end of the calendar year the charts start on here as everywhere else. Leafing back through the virtual pages of the blog here are 20 things I enjoyed that fit somewhere into the category of 'new'. These are just things that are 'new' to me though several of the people here have been putting out records for several years and in a couple of cases, over decades, I think every artist listed released something either this or last. No particular order, except perhaps for the first two. Many may pop up again when I get round to albums of the year in a few days.
