Song of the Day # 970 Juniper Moon


I haven't yet got round to posting anything about Hinds yet. Their Leave Me Alone album is one of the most sheerly enjoyable I've heard so far this year. I'll make amends on that front at some point. In the meantime, here are some Spanish indie predecessors. Juniper Moon, From Ponferrada and formed in 1997. They were signed by the famed, (for those in the know), Elefant label a couple of years later. This exemplifies their stuff, pure indie twee guitar joy. It was included on the first Rough Trade Indiepop collection. These people should know!
