Cool indeed. Taking the well trodden path of Byrdsian / Paisley Underground jingle-jangle and with the finest Rock and Roll song that I've heard this year as its title track, (Animal Races) and opener. Not available as an Internet link for me to post it but track it down! The whole album is brimful of Californian sunshine and good vibes.
