I'm always a bit concerned for bands who choose names as bland and prosaic as Shopping. Richard Hell once memorably sang, 'It's such a gamble when you get a face', but your band's name after all is something you choose yourself, like the name of your first child. Fortunately, with Shopping, a trio from London, there's no lack of invention elsewhere. Like so many nowadays, they're essentially Post-Punk; Delta 5, Raincoats.Mo-Dettes and Gang of Four spring to mind. They do it all very well. Here's a taster for their new material.
